St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is looking to hire an energetic and creative full-time Mathematics Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This candidate will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for math for high school students. The teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in math; master’s degree preferred.
- FDOE State Teaching Certification in secondary level (grades 6-12); or be in the process of acquiring certification in subject.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ classroom experience.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Candidate should be familiar with and have experience in e- books, interactive classroom technology and digital gradebooks.
- Excellent English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
