Participando en el retiro de Emaus nos permite poner a Dios en el centro de nuestras vidas, crecer espiritualmente y salir de nuestra rutina diaria. Este Retiro, dirigido por laicos, también es una ocasión para aprender unos de otros. Adicionalmente, en caso de sentirte agobiado por algo que esté pasando en tu vida, el Retiro te ofrece la oportunidad de deshacerte de esa carga. Durante unos días de reflexión y ejercicios espirituales, aprendemos a reconocer la presencia de Jesús en nuestra vida y cada uno aprende a conocerse mejor a sí mismo. 

 Este retiro es para hombres mayores de 21 años.  El retiro comienza a las 6:30 pm en punto, el viernes 7 de Noviembre.

Come & See! One In-Person Weekend Can Change Your Life

The Come and See Weekend provides an opportunity for you to take a deeper, more serious look at religious life. When you first come to realize God may be calling you to serve Him as a priest or brother, it seems as though you are the only person in the world with a vocation. Talking about it with your friends can be helpful to a certain point, but often your questions just don’t seem to make sense to them. This is where the Come and See Weekend can really make an impact on your discernment. The weekend brings together men like yourself. These men share many of your questions and concerns. In addition, the opportunity to meet and socialize with our friars and student brothers also helps in seeing whether religious life is really for you.

Your time at St. Dominic Priory and Studium will give you the chance to enter into the daily schedule and rhythm of a Dominican priory, to grow in your knowledge of the history and tradition of St. Dominic and the Order of Preachers, opportunities to meet and talk with the friars, both priests and student brothers, and the time to grow closer to our Lord in the Mass, the Divine Office, and adoration.

The weekend is free and travel scholarships are available (don't let the cost of a plane ticket be the reason not to come). You must be 18-35 years old to attend the Come and See Weekend.
