Join the Life Chain, on Life Sunday,  October 6, 2-3 p.m. 

Please join Archdiocese of Miami churches and schools in prayer in Miami along US 1 and in Broward along University Drive. (same location as previous years). 

We will witness for life, pray for an end of abortion and the change of hearts and minds of everyone involved in the abortion industry. www.lifechain.net 

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, join us for the annual “Blessing of the Animals” on Sunday, October 6th at 2 p.m. in the Piazza of The Cathedral of St. Mary. Bring your pets and get them blessed!

Come and have your pets receive a special blessing with holy water at 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 6th, a Sunday close to October 4th, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi who is the Founder of the Franciscan orders and also known as the patron saint of ecology and animals. 

St. Agatha Men's Emmaus team invites you to weekend of personal reflection and spiritual renewal in English beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4th and ends at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 6th, 2024.

The third annual Eucharistic Rosary Congress of the Archdiocese of Miami will be held Oct. 5-11, 2024, in different archdiocesan parishes.

This year, the prayers will be dedicated to trying to stop the passage of Amendment 4, a proposed amendment to the Florida state constitution on the November ballot. The congress is being organized by a team of Archdiocese of Miami Columbiette auxiliary members assisted by clergy of the six host parishes.

It will be seven days of continuous prayer, with Masses, 24 hours of adoration and rosary prayers.

The opening Mass will be Saturday, Oct. 5, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Coral Springs, and the closing Mass will be held Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. at St. Pius X Church in Fort Lauderdale. 

The closing day of the congress will include a procession of the life-size statue of the Virgin Mary, the investiture with the brown scapular, the family consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the veneration of the Virgin's veil.
