Dear Sister in Christ:
We all need to take time away from the busy pace of today’s world and to go to an “out of the way” place to focus and reflect on our life, our purpose, our relationship with God and with those around us. The Saint Hugh Women’s Emmaus Ministry offers you an opportunity to enjoy a weekend at a “spa for the soul”: our Emmaus Retreat.
The Emmaus retreat is an experience for people aged 21 and older who are seeking to grow in their relationship with Christ regardless of their present level of faith and practice. It is a Catholic retreat that is open to people of all Christian faiths. This is a retreat run by lay women, like you, who made the retreat in the past.Location

Time: The retreat will begin on Friday, November 20th at 7:00 pm. Participants may arrive at the retreat house as early as 6:15 pm. On Sunday, November 22nd, the participants will leave the retreat house at approximately 3:30 pm. The retreat will officially end with a closing mass.
Closing Mass: Sunday 22nd at 5:30 pm at St. Hugh Catholic Church, 3460 Royal Road, Coconut Grove, FL 33133. Our families and friends are invited to this Mass. All participants should arrive no later than 5:15 pm.
Sunday Reception: There will be an informal reception after the Mass in the Parish Hall for the participants and their families to meet and mingle.
What do you need to bring? You will need personal toiletries, medications, casual comfortable clothing and shoes including a sweater. Food, towels, pillow, blanket and linens are provided. Rooms are double occupancy.
The use of cellphones and watches is not allowed during the retreat. They must be turned in upon registration at the retreat house.
