Miami…(Sept. 16, 2022) St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale has been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2022 by U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona.
The coveted National Blue Ribbon Schools award acknowledges the hard work of educators, families and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content. Schools are recognized in one of two performance categories based on all student scores, student subgroup scores and graduation rates.
St. Thomas Aquinas was rated an exemplary high-performing school. According to the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program, schools in this category are among their state’s highest performing schools as measured by state assessments or nationally normed tests.
