Miami Beach... (June 20, 2022) The parish community of St. Joseph Church will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at 8670 Byron Avenue, Miami Beach, to pray for the victims of the collapsed Champlain Towers one year ago.
Prayers will also be offered for the victims’ relatives and friends, as well as the surviving families. A candle will be lit in remembrance of each of the victims who died in the 2021 Surfside building collapse.
Father Juan Sosa, pastor of Saint Joseph, has invited the Mayor of Surfside, Shlomo Danzinger, and the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava.
