Archdiocese updates COVID protocol for Catholic schools

MIAMI | At the start of the 2022-23 academic year, the Archdiocese of Miami has updated its protocol for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in its Catholic schools.

The protocol continues to make masks optional except for those completing a five or 10-day isolation or exposure protocol. Masks will be required for extended travel on a school or commercial bus. There are no restrictions on other school activities.

The policy complies with the most recent guidance of the Centers for Disease Control, and will be updated if necessary to conform to updated CDC guidelines or the level of community transmission.
