Epiphany Catholic School in Miami, Florida is seeking to hire a full-time English/ Language Arts Middle School Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for students in 6th and 7th grade. This teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami and Epiphany Catholic School. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field.
- FDOE Teaching certificate, temporary or professional required.
- Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience teaching Middle School is preferred.
- Strong technology skills using interactive classroom technology such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and software programs documenting student academic achievement.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing who fully adheres to and models the Roman Catholic Church teachings in faith and morals.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
