St. Bernadette Catholic School in Hollywood, Florida has an opening for a Full-Time Elementary Teacher Aide for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or associate’s degree.
- Strongly preferred- DCF 40 hours childcare training.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
