Epiphany Catholic School in South Miami, Florida, is hiring a Middle School Social Studies Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. This teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school students in 6th and 7th grades. The Middle School Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami and Epiphany Catholic School. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social studies education or related field.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate in middle school grades 5-9; temporary or professional is preferred.
- Must have or obtain catechetical certification from Archdiocese Office of Catechesis.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong classroom technology skills such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn necessary online programs as needed to effectively track student learning.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing who fully adheres to and models the Roman Catholic Church teachings in faith and morals.
- Experience teaching middle school in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code and be a team player.
