Good Shepherd Catholic School in Kendall (Dade County), Florida is hiring a full-time Pool Substitute for the current school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the vision, mission, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or associate degree.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies, especially online communication technologies.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code, and be a team player.
