St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Miramar, Florida has an opening for a qualified Math and Science Teacher to teach levels 4 and 5 for the 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for 4th and 5th Grade students in Math and Science. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Education.
- Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K-6th grade preferred); temporary or professional required.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience.
- Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
