Monsignor Edward Pace High School, located in beautiful Miami Gardens (Miami-Dade County), Florida, is looking to hire a qualified and experienced High School Science Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for High School Science. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with education and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field from an accredited university/college.
- Working towards attaining a master’s degree in science or related field from university/college.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing who fully adheres to and models the Roman Catholic Church teachings in faith and morals.
- Knowledge and skill in the use of instructional technology, including iPads in the classroom.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar forms is a plus.
- Excellent presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
- Excellent classroom management and demonstrated ability to engage students through project-based learning.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
