For any seminarian, receiving Jesus in the Eucharist comes with the hope of giving back in a special way in the future. If these Miami seminarians receiving the Eucharist from Archbishop Thomas Wenski before the start of the 2026-2027 school year eventually confirm a calling to priesthood after years of discernment, they will one day be celebrating their own Masses, sharing Jesus with others (TOM TRACY | FC).

The power of a pencil

For students like those at St. Mary’s Cathedral School in Miami this August 2026, rulers aren’t just math class essentials: every inch represents the incremental growth of young minds. New pencils aren’t just for learning to write essays: they record the hopes and dreams of a generation. Kiwanis of Little Havana's Back-to-School Project donations, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Miami, showed that even an object as tiny as a pencil sharpener can become a source of hope (EMILY CHAFFINS | FC).
