Course for RCIA leaders

The Office of Evangelization and Parish Life will offer formation courses for those who lead the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Training for youth ministers

All parish youth ministry leaders and core team members are invited to attend a youth ministry training on Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon. The class topic is “An Effective Vision for Youth Ministry.” Register at https://conta.cc/2ZwdNnx or email [email protected] for information.

 

Support the seminary

St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary will hold its annual Friends of the Seminary event online this year, starting Oct. 22 with the opening of the auction and continuing Oct. 23, at 5:30 p.m., with a live link to Mass from St. Vincent's Chapel. The homilist will be former rector, now Bishop David L. Toups of Beaumont, Texas. Acting rector/president Father Alfredo Hernandez also will speak along with some of the seminarians. Health care for the uninsured

St. John Bosco Clinic, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, is a free clinic located on the grounds of Corpus Christi Church, 730 N.W. 34 St., Miami. If you or someone you know needs healthcare and do not have medical insurance or the financial means to pay for care, St. John Bosco Clinic may be able to help. Our staff and volunteer healthcare providers offer preventive and primary care to individuals living in Miami-Dade County. Registration are currently being taken by telephone. Fatima movie streaming online

The movie "Fatima," an explicitly Catholic major motion picture produced and distributed by Catholics, is now streaming online via services such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, VUDU, and Xfinity. This powerful and uplifting drama about the power of faith premiered online and in movie theaters Aug. 28, 2020. Several hundred South Floridians previewed it July 13, 2020, when it was screened at the drive-in theater at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The film has been viewed and endorsed by a number of U.S. bishops, including Archbishop Thomas Wenski. For information on where to watch the film, go to Fatimathemovie.com.
