St. James Catholic School, a hidden gem in North Miami, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Teacher Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an attentive, nurturing, and collaborative professional who is committed to supporting student learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.
The Teacher Assistant will work closely with faculty to help cultivate academic growth, critical thinking, and student success while upholding the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is based on education and years of experience.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or associate degree; Bachelor degree preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
- Must be attentive and engaged in the classroom environment.
- Ability to assist with small groups, yard duty, and classroom support responsibilities.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience with Apple products and educational technology is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Supportive and respectful of Catholic values and mission.
- Knowledge of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church is preferred.
- Professional demeanor required, including adherence to dress code.
