Two new Servants profess first vows

Pierced Hearts community receives Sister Guadalupe and Sister Josephine

MIAMI | Two more women professed their first vows with the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary during a ceremony May 13 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Miami.

Novice Guadalupe Hermosillo became Sister Guadalupe Magdalena of the Loving and Merciful Gaze of Jesus; and novice Josephine Lundstrom became Sister Josephine Marie of the Pieta.

Bishop Fernando Isern, emeritus of Pueblo, Colorado, presided at the Mass which was concelebrated by a number of archdiocesan priests and attended by most of the other Servants of the Pierced Hearts as well as family and friends of the two new sisters.
