St. Agnes students compete in Miami Herald Spelling Bee

KEY BISCAYNE| On March 11, two St. Agnes Academy students participated in the 75th Annual Miami Herald Spelling Bee at Jungle Island. Cristina Cafferky competed in the fourth through fifth grade division, where she placed fourth, and Saidy Burch represented the middle school division and placed 10th. 

Hundreds of students from private and public schools throughout Miami-Dade County competed at the Miami Herald Spelling Bee. The competition gives students the opportunity to improve their spelling abilities and increase their vocabularies.
