MIAMI | Five students from Sts. Peter and Paul School in Miami, along with their Spanish teacher, Violeta Gil de Bazan, were among a number of Miami-Dade County public and private school students honored April 26 by the Instituto de Cultura Hispanica.

The students recognized with the Orden Academica Don Quijote de la Mancha were: Ashley Zelaya, Julio Soriano, Fernando Mendoza, Amber Carpintero and Alehandro Zayas Ramos. Their teacher received the Orden Academica Miguel de Cervantes.
