Events: Retreats - Days of Reflection

Catholic Charismatic Services of the Archdiocese of Miami invites you to a Day of Renewal & Healing Service based on 2 Cor 3:17, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Event will be hosted at Nativity Parish in Hollywood. Continental breakfast (8:30am) & Hot Lunch will be provided. The first Emmaus Retreat was held in the Archdiocese of Miami at the Dominican Retreat House in 1978.  It was developed and conducted by a team of  lay women from St. Louis Church and since has spread to parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Miami, other cities, states and even internationally.  The retreat is based on the scripture passage found in in the Gospel of Luke.

 

The retreat offers a unique opportunity for personal, spiritual growth simply by discovering a new relationship with God and others.  It allows time for you to reflect and affords you another opportunity to meet Jesus on your personal journey; to get away and look at yourself as a Christian / Catholic.  It helps you to focus your life in perhaps a more positive and meaningful way.  The retreat guides you through a series of reflections given by laypersons on all aspects of life – spiritual, emotional, physical and relational.  You will come away with a renewed sense of priorities.

Haz un alto en el camino de tu vida y tómate un tiempo aparte para meditar. 

Este Retiro de la Divina Misericordia sera un día de reflexion con los sacerdotes: Padre Mauro Carlorosi, religioso del Oratorio de San Felipe Neri y miembro de la Academia Internacional de la Divina Misericordia y del Faustino en Polonia. Padre Elvis Gonzalez es sacerdote diocesano de la Arquidiócesis de Miami y Párroco de la Iglesia de St. Michael en Miami. Este día de reflexion sera una oportunidad de profundizar en las riquezas de la Divina Misericordia, conocer la herencia espiritual de Santa Faustina y transmitir al mundo este fuego de la misericordia. Se llevara a cabo el día Sábado 23 de Agosto de 2025 de 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Este Retiro ofrece la oportunidad de tener un crecimiento espiritual muy personal, al descubrir una nueva forma de relación con Dios y con nuestros semejantes.  Te concede tiempo para reflexionar y espacio para acercarte a Jesús en tu búsqueda, encontrarte con “Él” y descubrir que verdaderamente está vivo y resucitado.  El Retiro te guía a través de una serie de reflexiones presentada por laicos en todos los aspectos de tu vida espiritual, emocional, física y de relaciones.

El Retiro se efectuará en el Southeast Pastoral Institute (SEPI). Comienza el Viernes 29 de Agosto y partiremos desde la Iglesia hacia la casa de retiro a las 6:00 PM.
