St. John Bosco Clinic seeks volunteers

If you have an interest in service to others, especially through supporting access to healthcare, St. John Bosco Clinic invites you to call us and see if we are a good match. We are looking for volunteers for the following duties:

• Patient Registration: This position will be responsible to interview new patients and complete eligibility applications with primarily Spanish speaking patients. Position Open on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday from 12:30 – 4 p.m. / Fully bilingual in English and Spanish / Good communication skills / Excellent attention to detail / 1 -3 volunteers needed. 
• Telephone/Reception: This position will be responsible to answer telephones and be able to communicate with a primarily Spanish-speaking call volume. Position open Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. / May volunteer 8:30 – 4:30 or 8:30 – 12:30 or 1 – 4:30 / Fully bilingual in English and Spanish / Good communication skills / 5 – 10 volunteers needed.
• Office Support – this position will primarily work with clinic staff in obtaining reports for the healthcare providers, doing computer work and assisting with other non-direct patient related support services. May serve as backup to the telephone/receptionist volunteer. Position open Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. / May volunteer any day of the week; minimum of 4 hours per shift / Spanish not required, but helpful when covering for telephone duties/ Good knowledge of computer work / Knowledge of medical terminology a plus / 2-3 volunteers needed.
