Relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus “The Little Flower” to Visit Miami

Miami, FL (Dec. 1, 2025)... The Archdiocese of Miami joyfully announces the visit of the relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, affectionately known as The Little Flower, to South Florida from December 2–8, 2025.

The faithful are invited to participate in this blessed time of prayer, reflection, and grace.

The visit will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at St Theresa Catholic Parish  (Church of the Little Flower) in Coral Gables, where school children will welcome the relics at 11:00 a.m.

Throughout the day, the church will host extended periods of public veneration, leading to the Opening Mass celebrated by Archbishop Thomas G. Wenski at 7:00 p.m. Overnight veneration will follow.

Over the next several days, the relics will continue their journey through the Archdiocese, visiting Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School, St. Augustine Parish in Coral Gables, and Little Flower Parish in Hollywood. The schedule includes daily Masses, Spanish-language liturgies, rosaries, holy hours, reflections led by the Discalced Carmelites (OCD), all-night adoration, and multiple opportunities for the faithful to venerate the relics.

Select events at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School will be reserved for students and invited guests.

Highlights of the pilgrimage include:

  • Opening Mass with Archbishop Wenski — Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m., St. Theresa Parish (Church of the Little Flower), Coral Gables
  • All-Night Adoration — Dec. 5 at St. Augustine Parish
  • Bilingual Closing Mass — Dec. 7 at 6:00 p.m., Little Flower Parish, Hollywood

This visit offers the community a unique opportunity to encounter the spirituality of St. Thérèse, whose “little way” of love continues to inspire millions around the world.

A full schedule of events is available through each hosting parish and on https://www.littleflower.org/learn-about/special-events/2025-st-therese-relics-visit/.
