SOUTHWEST RANCHES | St. Mark School's PreK2 through second-grade students took part in a Law Enforcement Career Day Nov. 2, during which they had the opportunity to hear federal, state and local police officers teach them about what they do to serve and protect the community.
Among the law enforcement agencies represented were the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection and their agriculture specialist K9s, U.S. Coast Guard Safety/Marine Equipment/Search and Rescue, Davie Police Department with its motors and horses, and the Miramar Police Department plus mascot McGruber.
