MIAMI | Belen senior Joshua Collins has signed his national letter of intent to run cross country at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The signing ceremony took place Feb. 2 at Belen Jesuit with his family, classmates, coaches and teammates present.

“It is a privilege to commit to such a prestigious university and continue my running career at the collegiate level,” said Joshua. “Most importantly, I will have the opportunity to incorporate the faith formation I received at Belen Jesuit in the next phase of my life.”

“I'm humbly proud to have coached Josh Collins and I'm so fired up to see him going to a great academic school in Florida,” said Cross Country Head Coach Frankie Ruiz. “Josh definitely left a great mark on our program, having been one the best runners I have ever coached. I have no doubt that Josh will also be a big contributor to the future success of the cross country program at Embry Riddle.”
