Blessed Trinity eighth grade academic olympians pose with winning art work.


MIAMI SPRINGS - Eighth grade students from Blessed Trinity School won a total of 12 medals in various subjects at the 33th Annual Christopher Columbus Academic Olympics Oct. 26. The winners were:

- First place in math: Nikole Bermudez
- Second place in religion: Melissa Rey
- Second place in English: Joseph Beaird and Taylor Delgado
- Second place in general skills: Kendall Ayash, Dylan Carter, Lauren Morfa, and Veronica Salvatierra
- Third place in science: Oscar Ortiz
- Third place in art: Paolo De Angelis
- Third place in English: Megan Mendiola
- Third place in history: Kaitlyn Bente
