St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Preschool in Pembroke Pines, Florida has an opening for a Part Time Preschool Teacher Aide for the 2025- 2026 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have Department of Children and Family (DCF) 45-hour training.
- DCF level 2 background screening.
- CPR First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience with early childhood students preferred.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Efficient presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
