Holy Cross Hospital’s orthopedic program named among best in survey

FORT LAUDERDALE | For the second time this year, Holy Cross Hospital has received national recognition. "Becker’s Hospital Review," a bimonthly national publication, has just named Holy Cross as one of the "100 hospitals with great orthopedic programs."

To develop the list, "Becker's" editorial team examined several rankings and awards for orthopedic care. They included "U.S. News & World Report," plus several medical and accreditation groups.

"To be recognized nationally as one of the leaders in orthopedic care and orthopedic surgery is a testament to the incredible team we have here at Holy Cross," said Dr. Patrick Taylor, president and CEO at the hospital. "Our orthopedic surgeons are on the leading edge of innovations and research, while providing the highest level of care and compassion."

The ranking by "Becker’s Hospital Review" was the second honor for Holy Cross this year. The hospital was also recognized by "U.S. News and World Report" as one of the top three hospitals in South Florida -- and one of only 63 in the nation -- to achieve "high performing" in all of nine medical conditions surveyed.
