MIAMI | Big congratulations to the St. Brendan High School varsity cheer team for bringing home a state title in the Class 1A Extra Large Varsity Division.
They are the first state championship team from Miami-Dade County.
"The girls and their coaches, Arlenee Suarez, Cecilia Espinosa, Victoria Salazar, and tumbling coach Danny Hernandez, have worked extremely hard and this is an incredibly well deserved honor," said St. Brendan Principal Jose Rodelgo Bueno.
