St. Bonaventure wins Archbishop McCarthy High's Academic Olympics

SOUTHWEST RANCHES | St. Bonaventure School in Davie took home the Maverick Traveling Cup for its first place win at the annual Academic Olympics hosted by Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School.

St. Mark School in Southwest Ranches came in a close second at the Sept. 24 competition, which tested students from 12 Catholic elementary schools in Broward County.

The competition featured tests in 10 subject areas, with participating schools sending two students to compete in each area. After the morning test portion, the school teams competed against each other in the Academic Relay game.
