St. Agnes creates
'Miracle on Harbor Drive'
KEY BISCAYNE | St. Agnes Academy has been working on its annual Thanksgiving food drive, also known as the “Miracle on Harbor Drive.” Each student is asked to bring at least one grocery bag full of Thanksgiving food items to donate to needy families at the Redlands Christian Migrant Association. The school's goal is to fill 600 grocery bags to provide a Thanksgiving feast for 600 families, with the help of the entire St. Agnes community.
St. Michael's Mission Club works year round
MIAMI | Children from the Mission Club at St. Michael School are working on a food pantry to feed the needy in the community. During the year-long program, the children are collecting canned goods and non-perishable food in their classrooms. During the month of November, the parents and children from the Mission Club made beautiful Thanksgiving baskets to give to the needy, so they could have a happy Thanksgiving. They distributed the baskets to residents of the area around St. Mary Cathedral in Miami.
