MIAMI | The Knightingales singing ensemble from Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep received Honorable Mention in the Small Ensemble Category at the 2014 Caroling Competition held in Coral Gables. Twenty-one choirs from middle and senior high schools (public and private) in Miami-Dade and Broward counties competed for approximately $11,000 in cash awards. The group performed on the steps of the 550 Biltmore Way Building in Coral Gables.

The Caroling Competition, presented by Holtz Children’s Hospital, is held every year beginning the Wednesday after Thanksgiving for five consecutive nights. Six schools perform nightly. The event is the only opportunity for the community to hear talented young people free of charge and all in one place.
