Miamiā¦(October 14, 2016) The Archdiocese of Miami is ready to send the first shipment of donations collected to help those affected by Hurricane Matthew in the Caribbean. Twenty-five pallets filled with canned goods and supplies have been packed and will be picked up this morning at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame d’Haiti Church, 110 NE 62nd Street, Miami, FL 33138.
The City of Miami Fire Rescue Department will pick up the donations and transport them to the Port of Miami to be shipped to Haiti.
**Media are welcome**
The public may continue to donate canned goods to Notre Dame d’Haiti Church until Oct. 22. Also, monetary donations are still being accepted through the website of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami www.ccadm.org.
