MIAMI | Hundreds of people gathered on the grounds of Mercy Hospital Sept. 24 for the annual Mass marking the feast of Our Lady of Mercy.

The Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Gabriel Ghanoum, coordinator of Spiritual Care for HCA Hospitals, SE Florida division, of which Mercy is a part (one of 13 hospitals in the division). Father Eric Zegeer, Mercy chaplain, and Father Pedro Toledo, Kendall chaplain and a priest of the Anglican ordinariate, concelebrated.

The  music was provided by the Lourdes Singers of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami.

This is the 65th anniversary year of Mercy Hospital, which was founded in 1950, and the 28th annual Mass celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Mercy.
