The sacrifice she made as the Mother of Pedro Pan children can only be appreciated by a few of us. I honor her courage and congratulate her giving us the Most Reverend Felipe Estevez. May she rest in peace.

Memories are built through the years and Estrella helped built beautiful memories. Her love for the Lord was so real that permeated the life of all of those around her. Her sweet and embracing disposition is known by all who knew her. Estrella is now with Adriano. To the Estevez family, especially to Dr. Estevez, to Bishop Estevez and to Ms. Marta Estevez, my most sincere condolences. In faith, hope and love, Carlota E. Morales, Ed. D. Principal Sts. Peter and Paul School

Felipe, I wish I could join you next week at Our lady of Mery. Allow me to greet you from very far away as you share in your mother's joy as she enters into the next Life. Even with your strong faith, there is no doubt a sense of loss for you and your family. Prayerful wishes.
