MIAMI | Coach Greg Magner, athletic director at Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep, honored the following students as Athletes of the Week:
Female Athlete of the Week: Senior Ashley Savain
Male Athlete of the Week: Senior David Anilusa
Female Athlete of the Week: Senior Ashley Savain, a guard on the girls' basketball team, who scored a career high 27 points in her last home game. Her performance guided the Lady Knights to a victory over Somerset Charter and concluded a successful regular season at 12-6.
Male Athlete of the Week: Senior David Anilusa, point guard on the boys' basketball team, who averaged 18 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds this week. His 24-point scoring effort against Doctor's Charter propelled the Knights to an impressive 20-point victory.
