FORT LAUDERDALE | Last year, the entire student body and faculty at St. Thomas Aquinas High School screened the documentary film "Finding Kind." The film follows young women who explore the epidemic of girl-on-girl bullying in schools.

Based on the school-wide acceptance of this film, St. Thomas Aquinas students took the initiative to promote kindness inside and outside of the school by creating a new organization, called "Raider Kind."

On Nov. 7, "Raider Kind" spoke to students at Mary Help of Christians School in Parkland, at the invitation of the school's principal, Stephen Brown. Members of "Raider Kind" spent time bringing awareness to over 100 middle school girls on the power of words and the importance of being kind.
