19 Msgr. Pace High students win Future Business Leaders of America awards

Nineteen students from Msgr.  Edward Pace High School's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America won awards at the District 26 Awards ceremony and qualified to compete in state competitions March 11-14.

Nineteen students from Msgr. Edward Pace High School's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America won awards at the District 26 Awards ceremony and qualified to compete in state competitions March 11-14.

MIAMI GARDENS | The Future Business Leaders of America at Msgr. Edward Pace High School continued their long tradition of success as 19 Pace FBLA students placed in the top four at the District 26 awards ceremony. These students competed in categories that showcased their skills in a multitude of potential careers.

First place winners were:

  • Armando Barbosa, Andrew Sanchez, and Brian Gonzalez for Computer Game Simulation
  • Michael Barcelo, Anthony Rodriguez, and Cesar Jimenez for Banking and Finance
  • Joseph Basulto for Computer Application
  • Marlon Garcia for Health Care Administration and
  • Priscilla Velez for Impromptu Speaking.

Second place winners were:

  • Savion Constable and Jonathan Williams for Mobile Application
  • Nicole Diaz and Grace Li for Sports & Entertainment
  • Allison Oddman for Business Law and
  • Lexie Perez and Vanessa Valdez for Hospitality Management.

Third place winners were Anaika Alezi for Accounting II and Anna Rossi for Business Communication, with Daniel Labrousse placing fourth in Economics.

With these awards, all 19 students qualified to compete at the Florida FBLA State Leadership Conference in Orlando March 11-14.
