MIAMI | As part of National Migration Week (Jan. 6-12), Archbishop Thomas Wenski celebrated the annual Migration Mass, Jan. 13 at St. Mary Cathedral. This year's theme was Building Communities of Welcome. Members of many archdiocesan apostolates wore native costumes.
Participants included, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Chinese, Poles, Haitians, Indians, Brazilians, Koreans, and Nigerians. Several groups performed native dances at a reception following the Mass.
