FORT LAUDERDALE | Eve Moll, a junior at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale and creator of ArtByEve, has been named an outstanding finalist in the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.

Eve creates and donates her artwork to raise funds and awareness for many charitable groups. Locally, nationally, and internationally, ArtByEve has raised over $60,000 for worthy causes such as JakeAndHisFight, Food for the Poor, ARC Broward, Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital, Women in Distress, and many others.

Eve said she finds inspiration for her pieces in the mission statements of the charities that enlist her help. Her figurative portraits or more fanciful figures convey a meaning deeply rooted in the spirit of charity.

She said she is “humbled and thankful” to be recognized by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. She plans to continue her service throughout her time at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
