Blessed Trinity turns 60

Mass, new building dedication planned for September

MIAMI SPRINGS | Blessed Trinity Parish in Miami Springs will mark its 60th anniversary Friday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. with a Mass to be celebrated by Archbishop Thomas Wenski. Following the Mass, the archbishop will bless the parish’s new multipurpose center, which will be officially named the Father Joseph T. Carney Enrichment Center. Father Carney served as pastor of Blessed Trinity for 30 years, until his unexpected death Jan. 2, 2013 at age 70. A small reception will follow the Mass and blessing ceremony. Blessed Trinity is located at 4020 Curtiss Parkway, Miami Springs.
