MIAMI | Katie Blanco Bourdeau, archdiocesan director of Development, has been named to theSouth Florida Business Journal’s 2017 class of “Top 40 under 40” young professionals. The award recognizes the “most entrepreneurial and influential young leaders” in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.
A member of St. Louis Parish in Pinecrest, Blanco Bourdeau was appointed director of development for the archdiocese in October 2011. She has a law degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami.
As president of the Archdiocese of Miami Development Corp., she oversees all phases of development, fundraising, stewardship programs, major gifts, and planned giving for the three-county archdiocese, its parishes and schools.
Blanco Bourdeau, who is 37 and was born in Miami, told the Business Journal that “my greatest achievements live in the hearts of those I have helped over the years, and in turn, what successes they achieve.”
